Warehouse Coordinator

A breakdown of your key responsibilities are as follows, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all materials, tools, and equipment in the warehouse.

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate reordering as necessary to prevent shortages.

  • Conduct regular monthly and bi-annual full cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation.

  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all materials are accurately received, inspected, and recorded.

  • Track orders from vendors and suppliers, confirming delivery dates and handling any discrepancies or delays.

  • Work closely with suppliers to maintain strong relationships and ensure the timely delivery of materials.

  •  Maintain meticulous records of shipments, invoices, and inventory levels.

  •  Ensure all paperwork is accurate, up-to-date, and filed appropriately.

  • Prepare reports on inventory status, shipping activities, and order tracking for management.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for field and shop employees regarding material needs and deliveries.

  • Communicate effectively with the field and shop teams to ensure they have the necessary tools and materials for each project and inform them of any delays.

  • Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure orders align with project schedules and requirements.

  • Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure efficient use of space and ease of access to inventory.

  •  Implement processes for better warehouse organization and improved workflow.

  •  Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse.

  • Proficient in using inventory management software and basic office software (e.g., Excel, Word).

  • Positive attitude, energetic, and collaborative team player.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks effectively, and be self-directed.

  • Experience in construction or building materials would be an asset.

  • Familiarity with order tracking and supply chain processes.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for extended periods of time.

  • Fully comfortable working in an industrialized environment and production settings.
