Vincere alternatives — migration guide
Thinking about leaving Vincere? Here is what the switch actually involves, step by step.
I'm Lokesh, and I handle onboarding for agencies switching to Recruitly. I've migrated dozens of agencies from Vincere over the past two years. Vincere is a solid platform and I'm not here to trash it. But agencies do switch, and when they do, they have a lot of practical concerns. This guide covers what actually happens.
Why agencies leave Vincere
The most common reasons I see are pricing changes, gaps in newer features like AI sourcing and WhatsApp integration, and support response times. Some agencies feel the platform hasn't kept up with where the market has gone. Others have simply outgrown what Vincere offers at their price point.
A few agencies I've worked with specifically mentioned wanting better multi-channel communication. They were using Vincere for email but had separate tools for WhatsApp and SMS. Consolidating that into one platform was a big motivator.
What to check before you decide to migrate
Before you commit to leaving, do three things. First, list the features you actually use in Vincere. Not the features you pay for, the ones your team uses daily. Second, check your contract terms and data export rights. Third, get a proper demo of any alternative and run your real workflow through it.
The worst reason to switch CRMs is because of a single frustration. The best reason is because you've systematically compared what you need against what you have, and there is a clear gap. You can see how Recruitly compares feature by feature at our Vincere comparison page.
How data migration from Vincere works
Vincere has a well-documented API, which makes migration straightforward. We pull your data programmatically, not through CSV exports. That means candidates, clients, contacts, jobs, placements, notes, and activity history all come across with their relationships intact.
The migration process typically takes 1-2 weeks depending on your data volume. We do field mapping with you before we start, so you can see exactly where each piece of data will land in Recruitly. CVs and documents are migrated as files attached to the candidate record. Email history comes across as activity logs.
We run the migration into a staging environment first. Your team reviews the data, flags anything that looks wrong, and we fix it before going live. You keep access to Vincere during this entire period so there is zero downtime.
Your first week after switching
Day one is about getting comfortable. Your data is already in the system from the migration, so you are not starting from scratch. We run a live training session with your team, usually 60-90 minutes, covering the daily workflows: searching candidates, managing jobs, logging activity, and using the AI tools.
By day three, most teams are working at normal speed. By the end of the first week, the common feedback is that certain things are faster than they were in Vincere, and a few things need small adjustments to match their old workflow. We handle those adjustments in real time during the onboarding period.
Honest answers to common concerns
Will we lose data? No. We migrate everything and you verify it before going live. You also keep Vincere access during the transition.
How long will my team take to adjust? Most people are comfortable within a week. Power users who built complex workflows in Vincere might take two weeks to fully settle in.
What about our integrations? Check the Recruitly marketplace for your current integrations. Most common ones (job boards, email, calendar, VoIP) are available. If something is missing, let us know during the evaluation stage, not after you've committed.
What does it cost? Recruitly starts at $25/user/month with a free plan available. Check pricing for the full breakdown. Most agencies switching from Vincere save 30-50% on their monthly CRM spend.
