Claude or ChatGPT reads your logo, colours, fonts, pictures and house style from Recruitly, designs the email with you, and saves it to your templates when you say it is final. You check it on a computer and a phone, then send it from Recruitly.
Your agency stays in control
A super user decides what assistants may do and who may use them, in User Management under AI Assistant Access.
Reads until you say so
An assistant can only read Recruitly until a super user switches on Allow AI assistants to make changes in AI Assistant Access.
It works as the user
Each person signs in with their own Recruitly account, with two-factor when their account uses it. Every change is made as that user, with their normal permissions.
You choose who connects
Turn on Only allow selected users to use AI assistants and pick who may. Super users are always allowed. Anyone else is blocked straight away, even if they already connected.
No duplicates
Ask it to add someone you already have, by email, LinkedIn profile or name and employer, and it finds them instead of making a second record.
Nothing is sent unless you allow it
Sending has its own switch, off until a super user turns it on. Before it sends, the assistant is told to show you the email and wait for your go-ahead. Campaign emails and drip campaigns are saved as drafts.
You see who uses it
AI Assistant Access lists who has connected an assistant and when they last used it.

What is the Recruitly MCP server?
It connects Recruitly to AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT through the Model Context Protocol, the open standard for connecting assistants to tools. It gives them 80 tools across your CRM, so you can search, add and update records, log notes and tasks, read your numbers and design campaign emails by asking.
Can Claude and ChatGPT make changes in Recruitly?
Yes. Once a super user switches on Allow AI assistants to make changes in AI Assistant Access, they can create and update candidates, contacts, companies, leads, deals and jobs, move candidates through pipelines, book interviews, record permanent placements, and add notes and tasks. Until then they can only read. Every change is made as the signed-in user, with their normal permissions.
Is it free?
Yes, on every Recruitly plan. You need a Claude plan with connectors (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise) or a ChatGPT plan with custom plugins (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu).
How do I connect it?
Add https://mcp.recruitly.dev/mcp to Claude as a custom connector, or to ChatGPT as a custom MCP plugin, then sign in with your Recruitly account. It takes about a minute.
Who in my agency can use it?
Every active user, unless a super user turns on Only allow selected users to use AI assistants and picks who may. Super users are always allowed, and AI Assistant Access shows who has connected and when they last used it.
Can it send emails and CVs?
Yes, once a super user switches on Allow AI assistants to send in AI Assistant Access. It is off by default. The assistant is told to show you the email first and send only when you say so. It can email candidates and contacts, submit CVs to a client and add people to a live drip campaign. Campaign emails and new drip campaigns are saved as drafts.
What does it leave to Recruitly?
Contract placements, fee splits, invoices, SMS and WhatsApp stay in the app for now. Deleting records is never offered.
Will it create duplicate records?
No. When you ask it to add someone you already have, by email, LinkedIn profile or name and employer, it finds the existing record instead.
