Dead data doesn’t bill

Your next placement is probably already in your database, filed under a job they left two years ago. Candidate, client and company data rots at 25–30% a year. Recruitly keeps every record current: numbers and emails found in one click, the live LinkedIn profile inside the record, and an agent healing thousands of records while you work your desk.

01

The problem

Your database is rotting right now

You search “Java developer”. Your strongest one doesn’t come up — his record still says Software Engineer, 2019.

So you work the next CV instead. The mobile is dead, the email bounces, and LinkedIn says she moved on eighteen months ago. Across the desk a consultant is pitching a hiring manager who left the client last quarter. The same candidate sits in the base three times with three different numbers, so nobody trusts a search result any more. By Friday the team has re-sourced, and paid for, people you already own. That’s what a rotting base costs. Not storage. Placements.

Candidates

  • Job moves you never hear about — the CV is frozen at the year it was parsed
  • Dead mobiles and bouncing emails on the people you most want to call
  • The same person three times, each copy with different details

Clients

  • Hiring managers move on — your BD call lands on someone who left last quarter
  • Stale titles, so the pitch opens with the wrong job
  • 18% of phone numbers change every year

Companies

  • Renames, mergers and acquisitions your records never caught
  • Headcount and industry drift, so account lists mislead the desk
  • Dormant accounts sitting in live BD lists

The industry numbers agree: 25–30% of contact and company data decays every year, and over 70% of CRM records go stale within twelve months.

Our solution

1. Live Profile
2. Find Email & Phone
3. Stop Bounces
4. Stay Compliant

1

See where they work now, not where the CV says

That CV was written two jobs ago. Recruitly shows the candidate’s live LinkedIn profile inside their record, so before you pick up the phone you know their current title, current employer and full work history.

  • Open the candidate, the profile is right there. No switching tabs to LinkedIn.
  • Hit refresh before you send the shortlist and pitch what they do today.
  • New role, new employer, new skills update the record automatically. Nothing to copy-paste.
  • Works on client contacts too — know they still work there before you pitch.

2

Find emails and phones, instantly

You found the perfect candidate and there’s no phone number. One click checks four data sources, one after another, starting with Recruitly’s own index which is free. It stops the moment a verified number or email comes back.

  • Every number and email is verified before it's saved. No dead dials, no bounces.
  • You only pay when something is found. A miss costs nothing.
  • The number lands straight on the candidate record, ready to dial.
  • Do one candidate from the grid, or thousands at once through the Data Agent.

3

Stop bounces before they hurt you

Every bounced email chips away at your sender reputation, and a bad reputation means your real emails start landing in spam. Recruitly deals with bounces the moment they happen, without anyone lifting a finger.

  • A hard bounce is suppressed and blacklisted instantly — that address never gets emailed again.
  • Throwaway email domains are flagged before you hit send.
  • Mark someone do-not-contact once and every campaign, sequence and blast respects it.
  • Your emails keep landing in inboxes, not spam folders.

Stay compliant without thinking about it

A database you can’t legally use is as dead as one full of wrong numbers. GDPR housekeeping runs itself in the background, so nobody on your team spends Friday afternoons on a compliance spreadsheet.

  • Consent is tracked on every record, automatically.
  • CVs expire under the retention policy you set — old data ages out on its own.
  • A full audit trail shows what changed and when, if anyone ever asks.
  • Data Health scores show at a glance how clean your candidates, clients and companies are.

GDPR enforcement against agencies almost always starts with one candidate complaint — a CV kept too long, a call they never consented to. Fines run to 4% of turnover.

An agent heals the whole base

Nobody on your team is going to hand-fix 12,000 records. The agent does it in one run: you tick the actions you want, press approve, and it works through the whole database while everyone gets on with recruiting.

  • Cleanupphone numbers formatted properly, emojis stripped from job titles, duplicate skills merged, N/A junk deleted.
  • Classifyevery record tagged with industry, sector and seniority using your own lists.
  • Parsemissing details pulled out of the CVs already sitting in your system.
  • EnrichLinkedIn refreshes and contact finding, in bulk. Nothing runs until you approve it.

And you run it like a manager:

  • Point it at a saved search, or just the rows you selected in the grid.
  • The estimated cost is shown before you approve. Unspent budget is refunded.
  • A summary email lands when the run finishes — what was fixed, merged and found.
  • Every change is stored field by field, before and after.

Questions recruiters ask

How does the contact finder work?

One click on the record. Recruitly checks its own index first at no charge, then tries Apollo, Lusha and FullEnrich in turn until a contact is found. Numbers and emails are verified before they touch the record, and you're only charged when something is actually found.

What does the Data Agent actually do?

It works your whole database in bulk: parses missing fields from CV text, formats phone numbers to the international standard, cleans job titles, dedupes and standardises skills, classifies industry and sector against your own master lists, refreshes records from LinkedIn and finds missing contact details. You choose the actions, approve the run, and it works while you recruit.

Is the LinkedIn profile really live?

The profile sits inside the candidate record — current role, employer, experience — and refreshes on demand. No tab out to LinkedIn, no copy-paste, no CV from 2021 pretending to be current.

What happens when an email bounces or someone asks not to be contacted?

Hard bounces are suppressed and blacklisted automatically so they never poison your sender reputation, and disposable domains are flagged before you send. A do-not-contact flag on the record is honoured across every campaign, sequence and blast — one flag, silence everywhere.

How much does an agent run cost?

Cleanup and classification run on your plan. Enrichment uses credits, and you see the full estimated cost before you approve the run — LinkedIn refreshes, email finds and phone finds are itemised up front. If the run uses less than estimated, the difference is refunded automatically.

Does this work on clients and companies too, or just candidates?

All three. Candidates get the full treatment including CV parsing; client contacts get title cleanup, LinkedIn refresh and contact finding so your BD calls land on people who still work there; companies get name casing, industry and sector classification, and enrichment with size, industry and location.

What about GDPR?

Consent tracking, retention rules and CV/resume expiry triggers are built in — records age out automatically under the policy you set, and the audit trail shows what happened when.

Your database is either working for you or rotting under you.
