Inside Recruitly

Every dead address, off every list, with the reason.

Simi, Recruitly's AI

A domain with no mail server, a domain that does not exist, a disposable inbox, an address that has already bounced. Simi finds them and puts them in your Email Blacklist, and every campaign and drip skips them.

Campaigns, Email Blacklist in Recruitly with the Simi List Cleanup filter on: seven addresses, each a Bounce dated today, with reasons such as Simi List Cleanup: no mail server, domain does not exist, disposable address and invalid address, and the candidate, contact or lead each belongs to.

After the clean

A verifier’s job ends at the download. Yours starts there.

You export the list, upload it, buy the credits and wait. A file comes back saying 318 addresses are dead, and the verifier is finished. Now someone has to find those 318 people in the CRM and stop mailing them, by hand, before the next campaign goes out. And the list starts going stale again the same day.

  • Download results.csv.
  • Open the CRM. Search for the first address.
  • Mark it do not email. Write down why.
  • Do the other 317.

Here

The dead address is already off every list.

Simi checks the addresses where they live, in your CRM, so nothing goes out and nothing comes back. A dead one becomes a row in your Email Blacklist, the same blacklist your bounces and unsubscribes are in. Campaigns and drips skip it, and the record says why.

An address that bounces in one of your campaigns lands on the same blacklist. The list you clean once stays clean.

Four things Simi catches

Each one is a fact about the address, not a guess about the person. Each one reads in your Email Blacklist exactly as it does here.

What it means

The safety catch

Simi never blacklists half your list.

If a check would move a big share of a channel at once, or more than fifty addresses from one company, Simi holds them and leaves them for a person to look at. Take an address off the blacklist and Simi never puts it back. If a dead domain comes back to life, Simi takes its addresses off at the next check.

Loop Channels

Every channel cleans itself.

A Loop Channel is a group of people from your CRM, described in one sentence and kept current for you: every candidate you placed, hiring managers in logistics, Java developers in Manchester. Turn on Email List Cleanup and Simi checks everyone in it monthly or weekly, then posts one card in the channel with who she moved and why.

The cost shows before it starts. Five thousand people checked monthly is about $7.50, on its own cap, never your email credits.

What you cancel

A verifier is another account, another pack of credits and another file to reconcile. Ours is one line in Manage Limits at $0.0015 an address, and the cleaning happens where your lists already are.

Before you switch it on

Is Recruitly a NeverBounce or ZeroBounce alternative?

For a recruitment agency keeping its CRM's lists clean, yes. The check runs where the records live, and the answer is acted on: dead addresses go straight to your Email Blacklist and every campaign and drip skips them. There is no file to export and no results to import.

What does Simi check?

Whether the domain exists, whether it has a mail server, whether the address is a disposable inbox, and whether it is an email address at all. An address that has already hard bounced counts as dead too.

How do I turn it on?

Make a Loop Channel from any saved search, even “every candidate with an email”. In the channel, open Channel actions, choose Email List Cleanup under Simi Agent Tasks, and pick monthly or weekly. The cost for that channel shows before anything starts.

What does it cost?

$0.0015 for each address checked, on its own Email List Cleanup row in Manage Limits with its own monthly cap. It never uses your email credits. Addresses already on the blacklist are not checked or charged, and an address is never charged twice in a day.

What if Simi gets one wrong?

Press Remove from blacklist on the row. Simi never adds that address again. If a dead domain starts working, Simi takes its addresses off the blacklist at the next check.

Does a blacklisted address stop all email to that person?

No. Campaigns and drips skip it. One-to-one email from a recruiter still sends, so nobody is cut off from a conversation they are already in.

We already pay for NeverBounce. Can we keep it?

Yes. Connect your own NeverBounce in the Marketplace and Recruitly checks with it on every send, alongside Email List Cleanup.

Cancel the verifier. Keep the clean list.
