A seat for every recruiter, and it stops at the calendar event

Calendly is the scheduling page everyone knows, and it is exactly that — one event type free, then a seat for every user, and a calendar event at the end. A recruiter’s work begins at that event: the person who booked needs to be a lead in a stage, a candidate on a job, a contact on an account.

A booking is not an event

It is a person who wants to talk to you, and they belong in your pipeline.

Free for one person with one kind of meeting

A recruiter has at least three: the intro, the screen and the debrief. The second event type is a seat, and so is the second recruiter. Then it is a seat for everyone, forever, for a page whose job ends at the calendar.

What a booking page can only do from inside the CRM

The booker becomes a record

A lead in the pipeline stage you chose, a contact on the account, or a candidate on the job — decided per event type, created the moment the booking is confirmed. Someone already in your CRM is linked, never duplicated.

Verified, or not booked

Every booker types a six-digit code before a slot is theirs. Set an event type to work emails only and free mailboxes are turned away. The invite reaches a real person at a real company.

Simi on the invite

Every booking is an AI Meetings meeting. She reads the record before she joins, takes the notes with real names, and writes them onto the person and the job.

The rest of the desk

Jobs, candidates, shortlists, placements, billings, campaigns, WhatsApp, an AI phone system and an AI notetaker — in the same subscription as the booking page.

Built for calendars, not pipelines

A scheduling tool models one thing: a slot in a calendar. Recruitment needs to know who is in it.

A hiring manager asking for a demo is a lead in a stage. A candidate booking a screen is an application on a job. A client booking a debrief is a contact on an account with a placement in flight. Calendly has a field for none of these, which is why the best it can do is push a name over an integration and let you file it later.

Recruitly’s booking page was built inside the CRM, so the event type decides what the booker becomes, the meeting lands on their timeline, and Simi’s notes arrive underneath it — because it was built for agencies and nothing else.

Recruitly vs Calendly

One is a very good scheduling page. One is your agency’s system, with the scheduling page in it.

Questions before you move

Calendly has a free plan. Why move?

The free plan is one event type and one calendar, which is fine for a solo recruiter with one kind of meeting. The moment you want a 15-minute intro and a 30-minute screen, or a second consultant, it is a seat for everyone. Ours is included in every plan with as many event types as you need — and the person who books ends up in your pipeline rather than in a calendar event.

Calendly integrates with CRMs. Is that not the same?

It pushes a name and an email into a sales CRM over an integration. A recruitment CRM has leads with pipeline stages, candidates with jobs, contacts with accounts, and a timeline on each of them. Because the booking page and the database are one product, the event type decides which of those the booker becomes and where the meeting is filed. Nothing is mapped and nothing is lost on the way.

What about spam and fake bookings?

Every booker verifies their email with a one-time code before a slot is taken, and each event type can be set to work emails only. Bots are stopped in front of the page by Cloudflare. Calendly will take a booking from any address that submits the form.

Which calendars and video tools?

Google Calendar and Outlook for availability and the event; Google Meet or Microsoft Teams from the connected calendar; Zoom once your agency has connected it. Each event type picks its own video provider.

A seat for a calendar, or a page that fills your pipeline.
