Recruitly 2.0 is here — the beta is open to everyone

Recruitly 2.0 is in beta, and from today every Recruitly account can get in. Go to recruitly.app and sign in with the email you use today. Your data is there, live — nothing to import, nothing to set up, no project to run.

It is the largest piece of work in Recruitly's history: a completely rebuilt interface, and a long list of things the platform simply could not do before — starting with a phone system and a meeting assistant that belong to Recruitly rather than to somebody else.

It is also, genuinely, a beta. We would rather you saw it now and told us what is wrong with it than met it in six months as a finished thing you had no say in. Your current version is untouched and stays exactly where it is — it remains your day-to-day system for as long as you want it to be.

Your own phone system, built into the CRM

Until now, calling from Recruitly meant wiring in somebody else's phone system. 2.0 has its own — the first one built for recruiters, and the reason most of the rest of this list works.

  • Your own local, national and toll-free numbers — or port the ones you already have, and follow the port progress in-product.
  • Dial straight from the record, in the browser or the desktop app. Inbound calls route to the right recruiter. SMS goes out from the same numbers.
  • An AI briefing before you dial, written from your own pipeline: who they are, where they got to, what was agreed last time. No other system can do this, because no other system has your database.
  • Recording, transcript, summary and sentiment written to the candidate and the job the moment you hang up. Nobody types a word.
  • A callback queue built from what you actually promised on the call, plus a sweep for inbound calls the team never returned.
  • Call desks for you and for the office: talk time, answered, missed, outcomes.
  • Numbers, call types, recording rules and compliance paperwork handled in-product, with per-call cost visible and a spend cap on the account.

No phone seats to buy, and 100 AI briefings free per user every month. Learn more→

Simi sits in your meetings and writes them up

Invite simi@recruitly.app to a Zoom, Google Meet, Teams or Webex call. No plugin, no extension, no calendar connection to authorise.

  • She arrives briefed on the account — placements, past conversations, invoices — and appears by name in the participant list with your agency on it.
  • Within 90 seconds of the meeting ending, the notes are on the client, candidate and job records — in place on the calendar event, never duplicated somewhere else.
  • Transcripts carry real participant names, not "Speaker 1", and you can click any line to jump to that moment.
  • Action items come out as tasks with owners already on them.
  • Screening calls can fill a scorecard live while you talk, and she can prompt you through your own script.
  • Video recording is off by default — transcript only, unless you turn it on.

AI that does the work, not a chat box in the corner

  • An agent on every job. Open a job and talk to it: draft the advert and the spec, post to your boards, search your own database for people who fit, move candidates through the pipeline, screen the ones already on it, write the client update. You keep the pen on anything that can hurt.
  • An agent for your data. Bulk cleanup and enrichment where you see the cost, approve it, and then it runs.
  • Writing everywhere. Draft, rewrite, shorten or change the tone of any email, advert or spec, from the CRM record rather than a blank page.
  • Support that reads your own handbook. Product questions answered in-app from the documentation and your own guides, with a handoff to a human when it matters.
  • Your data in Claude and ChatGPT. Point them at Recruitly and ask questions of your own book.

The best candidate is usually one you already have

  • AI match — describe who you want in plain English and it ranks your own database against the role, with the reasoning attached.
  • Matches on the job, kept and updated: the best people you already hold for this req.
  • Find similar, and match one person against every other open role you have.
  • Application scoring — every inbound application scored 0–100 against the job, with strengths, gaps and a written view, before you open the CV.
  • Scorecards — your agency's standard questions, plus a job-specific card the AI drafts and the screening call fills in.
  • LinkedIn search where you write the brief and the filters get built for you, checked against your CRM before you spend a credit on a lookup.

Every conversation with a person, in one thread

Email, calls, WhatsApp, SMS and notes for one person, in order, on one screen — instead of five tabs and a guess about who last spoke to them. Whoever picks the record up can see the whole relationship in ten seconds.

Know the number before it lands

  • A weighted forecast of what you will actually invoice at 30, 60, 90 and 120 days — the furthest person in each pipeline, times the odds of that stage, times the fee, plus the retained schedule you have already sold. Nobody in the pipeline is worth £0, and nothing is worth hope.
  • Forecast versus reality — what you said last week against what actually placed, and the drift per job.
  • Job analytics in one window — health, leaks, speed, people, fill rate, and the fee sitting in jobs that are dead, starved, clogged or stalled.
  • Time to fill and time parked in each stage, so you can see where the days actually go.
  • Application analytics — where inbound comes from, and who is clearing the pile.
  • A written read of the period: what went well, what to do next.

Put your people in front of clients properly

  • Spec Send — no open job, no problem. Pitch someone anyway; they open a branded page and you see the views.
  • Share pages with an expiry, tracking, and a button for the client to say they are interested.
  • Submit to a job with an AI-written pitch — and a private list of the objections they will raise, which they never see.
  • Branded CVs in your house style, blind CVs for floating, and your watermark on the original PDF.

A book that stays clean

Data Health shows you what is missing and what has gone stale across candidates, contacts, leads and companies — no phone, no email, no LinkedIn, nobody has touched it in a year. Fix it in bulk, with the cost in front of you before anything runs.

And an interface rebuilt from nothing

This is the part you feel in the first ten minutes.

  • Press / and go anywhere. A person, a job, a screen, or straight into creating something — without touching the menu.
  • Records pin like browser tabs. The four jobs you are working stay open across the day.
  • Windows float. Open a candidate over the top of the job you are reading, minimise it to the tray, come back to it later. You never lose your place, and you never lose what you typed.
  • Saved views. The filter you always want, kept — and shared with the desk.
  • Talk instead of typing. Dictation on almost every field in the product.
  • Lists that keep up. Thousands of rows, your columns, your order, filtered instantly.
  • A desktop app for Mac and Windows, where an emailed link opens the right record instead of a browser tab you then have to find.
  • The whole desk on your phone.
  • Academy — quests on real work, with XP for placing rather than for watching videos.

Everything you use today is still here

Campaigns and drip sequences, WhatsApp, 50+ job boards and your careers site, candidate and client portals, automation rules, e-signature, Xero, QuickBooks and FreeAgent invoicing, Apollo, Lusha and FullEnrich enrichment, leaderboards and office TV, GDPR and audit. Same records, same settings, same data.

What it costs

No phone seats to buy and no per-seat notetaker licence. Numbers are licensed monthly and calls are charged by the minute — a call recorded, transcribed and summarised comes to . Meetings run on the Simi add-on at $25 a month, then $1.50 an hour attended. Every user gets 100 AI briefings free each month and their first meeting hour free, so you can try the two headline features before you spend anything.

What "beta" means here

  • It is your real data, not a demo. 2.0 and your current version are the same account and the same records. Anything you create or change in one shows up in the other, immediately. Treat it as live, because it is.
  • Nothing is being switched off. Your current Recruitly carries on exactly as it does today. Use both, side by side, for as long as you like.
  • You will find rough edges. Some screens are still being finished and some corners are still being polished. When you hit one, tell us — beta feedback goes straight to the people building it, and it is the fastest route into the product you will ever have.
  • It gets better weekly. Fixes and features ship continuously, and you do not have to do anything to receive them.

Getting in

Go to recruitly.app and sign in with your usual Recruitly email. Same account, same data, already there — give it ten minutes with a live job in front of you.

Then tell us what you think. What you say during the beta shapes what 2.0 becomes, and we are listening closely to the agencies who take the time.

Everything else we shipped

Features, improvements and fixes, in the order they went live.
