Your first five recruiters don’t get the AI

Adder Intelligence — Smart Summaries, Smart Sync, Smart Job Descriptions and Smart Floats — starts at Recruiter Essential, and Recruiter Essential starts at six users. The plan sold to a one-to-five person agency lists no AI at all. Advanced automations and advanced analytics move up again, to Pro at twenty-one users.

So the agencies with the least admin help are sold the version of the product that does the least admin.

If you leave, there is a clock

JobAdder’s FAQ is clear about it: data is irretrievably deleted 90 days after an account is terminated, a backup is not automatic and has to be requested first, and the backup itself is deleted two weeks after it is generated. Request the export while the account is still live. We will take it from there.

Questions before you move

What does JobAdder actually cost?

Their pricing page does not say. It lists four plans — Recruiter Lite for 1-5 users, Recruiter Essential for 6-20, Recruiter Pro for 21+ and Recruiter Business for in-house teams — and no figure appears against any of them. Their stated reason is that every business is different and they would rather understand what you need first. Third-party sites publish estimates, but they are estimates, and we are not going to repeat a number we cannot source. What we can tell you is ours: Recruitly starts free and paid plans start at $25 per user per month, printed on the pricing page.

Is it true that the entry plan has no AI?

That is how their pricing page reads. Adder Intelligence — Smart Summaries, Smart Sync, Smart Job Descriptions and Smart Floats — is listed from Recruiter Essential, which starts at six users. Recruiter Lite, the plan aimed at agencies of one to five people, lists no AI features. Advanced automations and advanced analytics appear higher again, on Recruiter Pro at twenty-one users. In Recruitly there is no headcount at which the software gets cleverer: AI matching, application review, CV formatting, advert writing and Simi are on the free plan and every plan above it.

Which parts of JobAdder cost extra?

Six, by their own listing, under the heading “Pick a base plan, then add on only the extras you need”: a dedicated IP address, API and sandbox access, single sign-on, Broadbean, smart forms and the hiring manager portal. None of the six carries a published price. All six are included in Recruitly on every plan.

Is there anything JobAdder does better?

Job advertising, and it is not close. One-click posting to 200+ boards is the thing they have genuinely invested in, and because JobAdder is majority-owned by SEEK, the Australian and New Zealand board coverage is first-class rather than an afterthought. If you are an ANZ agency and SEEK is most of your candidate flow, that is a real advantage and you should weigh it properly rather than take our word for anything. We post natively to 50+ boards including Indeed, Reed, CV-Library, Totaljobs and JobServe, and during a trial we will tell you honestly whether the boards you actually buy are covered.

How do I get my data out of JobAdder?

Start early, because there is a clock. Their FAQ states that data is irretrievably deleted 90 days after an account is terminated, that a backup is not automatic and must be requested before that happens, and that backups themselves are irretrievably deleted two weeks after they are generated. So the safe order is: request the export while the account is still live, take delivery, and only then close the account. We will take the export from there.

How long does moving to Recruitly take?

A dedicated migration specialist runs a two-stage process. Day 1 a sample export, day 5 the plan and quote signed off, day 12 you validate 100 records per module, day 14 the full load and a second sign-off. Then both systems run in parallel while your team works normally, with a final export on the Friday, the delta over the weekend and go-live on Monday. The full day-by-day plan is published rather than promised.

A price you can read without booking a call.
