Read the asterisk

LogicMelon publishes its price, which is more than most will do. What it does not cover is everything a recruiter buys after the advert goes out.

Their pricing page

£70 /user /month

Includes CRM, ATS and Multi-poster

“No hidden fees. No per-job charges.”

*“You will need to purchase a search licence directly from your job board”

On the Search+ and Talent Pool pages

No asterisk, and no search licence
$25 /user

Six things you still buy somewhere else

A multiposter with an ATS around it stops at the advert. Everything after it is a separate subscription, and it is usually four or five of them.

CV database search

Search+ reaches 50+ board databases, but the search licences are bought from each board directly.

Telephony and call recording

Click-to-dial, recording and AI call summaries are not part of the licence.

WhatsApp

The channel candidates actually answer on is a separate product.

E-signature

Terms and placement paperwork go out through another subscription.

Contact enrichment

Finding a direct dial or a personal email is a separate data vendor.

AI matching and screening

Ranking a shortlist against the brief is not in the multiposter.

Where we agree with them

LogicMelon prints its price, in two currencies, with a checkout button underneath it. Almost nobody else in this category does that, and we are not going to pretend it is a weakness.

The disagreement is about scope. Their £70 buys posting, an ATS and a CRM. Our $25 buys those plus the sourcing, the calling, the messaging, the signing and the AI — which is the rest of the working day.

Recruitly vs LogicMelon

Both publish a price. They cover different amounts of the job.

Questions before you move

Is LogicMelon expensive?

It is transparent, which is rarer and worth saying. £70 per user per month is printed on their pricing page in both GBP and USD, next to the line “No hidden fees. No per-job charges.”, and you can buy it there and then. That is more than most of their competitors will tell you. The question is not whether the price is hidden — it is what the price covers. Ours is $25 per user with a free plan, and it covers sourcing, telephony, WhatsApp, e-signature and AI as well.

What is the search licence asterisk?

Search+ puts 50+ job board CV databases behind one search interface, which is genuinely useful. Their own page carries the footnote that you will need to purchase a search licence directly from your job board. So the feature is the interface, not the access — the boards still bill you for the right to search them. That is normal for this category and we are not calling it a trick. It just means the licence fee is not the whole cost of searching.

Does Recruitly replace the multiposter as well as the ATS?

Yes. Posting to 50+ boards is part of creating the job, with per-board field mapping and scheduling, and applications arrive directly on the job as deduplicated candidate records with the source recorded. You keep your own board contracts and credits and we post with your credentials.

Is there anything LogicMelon does better?

Two things, honestly. Their distribution reach is very wide, wider than ours, and if you post to a long tail of niche boards that matters. And they are board-neutral with a genuinely well-liked support team included in the price. If your agency is essentially an advertising operation and the CRM side is light, that focus is a fair reason to stay. What we would say is that during a trial we will tell you plainly whether the boards you actually buy are covered by us, rather than quote a headline number.

How much of my stack does this actually replace?

For most agencies moving off a multiposter, it is the posting tool plus the phone system plus the e-signature subscription plus whatever they use for enrichment, and often an email marketing tool as well. The consolidation calculator on our pricing page lets you tick the ones you pay for and see the arithmetic rather than take our word for it.

How long does a migration take?

A specialist runs a two-stage process: a sample export on day 1, the plan and quote signed off on day 5, 100 records per module validated by you on day 12, and the full load with a second sign-off on day 14. Both systems then run in parallel while your team works normally, with a final export on the Friday, the delta over the weekend and go-live on the Monday.

The advert is the start of the job, not the end.
