AI Matches vs LinkedIn Sourcing: two ways to find the right candidate
AI Matches searches the candidates already in your database, free with your subscription. LinkedIn Sourcing finds new people from outside it. How to use both on a job.
Finding the right candidate has two halves: the people you already know and the people you do not. On every job in Recruitly, AI Matches covers the first and LinkedIn Sourcing covers the second.
Watch it on Recruitly Play (6 min 55 s), part of the Master the search bar series.
AI Matches: your own database
AI Matches is free and included in your subscription. It reads the job's requirements, searches the candidates already in Recruitly and suggests the most relevant, each with an AI match score of good, moderate or weak.
- Open the job and the AI Matches tab.
- Tick the candidates you want, click Add to the Job, choose the stage and Proceed.
- To refine the results, edit the search profile, the AI summary of the ideal candidate with its must-haves, then Save Changes and rerun.
- Pending and accepted candidates are listed on the left.
LinkedIn Sourcing: people outside your database
The LinkedIn Sourcing tab starts from an AI-generated profile of the candidate you need. Review or edit it and proceed, and Recruitly builds the search filters. Results load twenty-five at a time, each with an AI match percentage. From the right panel you can retrieve a personal email or work phone and add the person to the job without leaving the search.
