The difference that is not on the price page

Zoho Recruit can be configured into a recruitment agency. Recruitly already is one.

Custom modules, Blueprint automation, assignment rules and territory management are serious machinery, and at this price they are remarkable. But a system that can become anything has to be made into something first, which is why agencies so often end up engaging a partner to set it up. That work is a cost and a delay that never appears on a pricing page.

We only build for recruitment agencies. There is nothing to shape, and temp, contract and permanent all live in the same place rather than in a second product.

Recruitly vs Zoho Recruit

Zoho Recruit is a strong horizontal product. We are a narrow one.

Questions before you move

Is the client portal really only on Enterprise?

On the Staffing Agency edition's own plan comparison, Client Portal and Vendor Portal show a dash against Free, Standard and Professional, and appear on Enterprise. Extra portal licences are then billed separately. For an agency this matters more than it looks on a feature grid, because the client portal is not an internal convenience — it is how your clients experience you. In Recruitly it is on every plan, in your branding.

What does Zoho Recruit cost?

The Staffing Agency edition publishes $30, $60 and $90 per recruiter per month billed monthly, or $25, $50 and $75 billed annually, with GBP equivalents also published. There is a Forever Free plan limited to one active job and 5,000 records, which does not accept add-ons. That is transparent and we will say so — the thing to add up is the add-ons around it, because the sticker price is not the bill.

Do I need Zoho Workerly as well?

If you place temps or contractors, yes — Workerly is a separate product with its own per-temp pricing, sold in blocks of 25 temps. Recruitly handles permanent, temp and contract in the same system, with timesheets, placements and invoicing included rather than bought alongside.

Is there anything Zoho Recruit does better?

Two things, honestly. The configurability is deeper than almost anything at the price — custom modules, Blueprint process automation, assignment rules, territory management and field-level controls are genuinely enterprise-shaped machinery for $25 to $75 a recruiter. And if you already run Zoho CRM, Books, Desk and the rest, the value of having recruitment inside that suite is real and we cannot match it. If you are a Zoho shop, staying is a rational decision.

What is the catch with configurability?

It is work. A system that can be shaped into anything has to be shaped into something, and agencies frequently end up engaging a Zoho partner to do it. That is a cost and a timeline that does not appear on the pricing page. Recruitly arrives already shaped like a recruitment agency, because that is the only thing it is for.

How does a migration from Zoho work?

The same two-stage process as any other move: sample export on day 1, plan and quote signed off on day 5, 100 records per module validated by you on day 12, full load and second sign-off on day 14, then a parallel run before go-live. Zoho's export tooling is good, which makes the first stage faster than most.

Software that is already the shape of your agency.
