Drip Sending Limits: control how fast your campaigns and sequences send
Sending too many emails too fast is the quickest way to end up in spam. Drip Sending Limits puts you in charge of the pace, so your campaigns and sequences keep landing in inboxes.
Find it: Marketing → Settings → Drip Sending Limits (also under Settings → Email Configuration)
Mailbox or Email Sender: see the difference at a glance
There are two ways your emails can go out, and the page now shows how they differ.
Mailbox
- Goes out from your own Gmail or Outlook
- Lands in your Sent items
- Free
- Best for personal outreach and replies
Email Sender
- Goes out from a verified address on your domain
- Recruitly delivers it, so it does not land in your Sent items
- Charged per email
- Best for volume: campaigns and long sequences
Each one has its own limits, so a mailbox limit never slows down an Email Sender, and an Email Sender limit never slows down a mailbox.
Set a team limit for mailboxes
- Choose emails a day and emails a minute for your whole team
- That limit is the default for every connected mailbox, and no mailbox can go above it
- Anyone can set their own mailbox to send more slowly (My Profile → Connected Accounts)
- See how many emails each mailbox sent in the last 24 hours
Set a limit for Email Senders
- One limit for every Email Sender across the team
- It counts campaigns, sequences and one-off emails from the same sender
- See how many emails each sender sent in the last 24 hours
What happens when a limit is reached
- Campaigns and sequences wait until the next morning and pick up where they left off. Nothing is lost.
- Normal one-to-one emails are never held back. You can always reply to a candidate or client.
Built-in guidance
If you set a limit above the recommended level, you'll see a warning before you save. For high-volume sending we suggest adding a Dedicated IP (Marketing → Settings → Dedicated IPs) to protect your reputation.
Who can change them: only users with configuration access. Everyone else can see the limits but cannot edit them.
