Recruiters send a finished message, not a form
When a recruiter picks a template, they see it as a WhatsApp bubble with the details already in place. Anything they want to change is one click away, and Send is always in view.
- Candidate first name and surname, your first name, your business name, the job title and the interview time fill themselves.
- Your business name comes from your WhatsApp Business account, the name Meta approved.
- Templates appear as cards for this recipient, with a readable title and a preview.

Why do I need templates?
Meta only lets a business start a WhatsApp conversation, or message someone more than 24 hours after their last reply, with a template it has approved. Templates are how you reach a candidate who has not messaged you first.
Do we have to write them from scratch?
No. The moment your business account goes live, Recruitly submits a starter pack for approval: an interview confirmation, a document request and a still-looking check-in. You can add your own at any time.
How do we create our own?
In Recruitly. Give the template a name, category and language, write the message with blanks for the details that change, and add a footer if you want one. Recruitly sends it to Meta and shows its status until it is approved.
Do recruiters have to fill in the blanks?
Most blanks fill themselves: the candidate's first name and surname, the recruiter's first name, your business name, the job title and the interview time. The recruiter sees the finished message in a WhatsApp bubble and can click any value to change it before sending.
What if Meta rejects a template?
Recruitly shows the rejection and the reason Meta gave on the template card, so you can fix the wording and submit it again. Only approved templates are ever offered to recruiters.
