With Recruitly connected to Claude, you update your CRM in the same chat you think in. Tell Claude about a candidate after a call and the record is created.

Watch it on Recruitly Play (2 min 27 s), part of the Get set up series.

Connect Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and click Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Recruitly and paste the Recruitly server address. Click Add.
  3. Click Connect and sign in with your Recruitly account. Claude now works with your data, as you.

Allow changes

Claude can only read until a super user allows changes. In Recruitly, press slash, open User Management, then AI Assistant Access, and switch on Allow AI assistants to make changes.

Put it to work

  • Describe a new candidate the way you would say it. Claude creates her with you as owner, fills salary and notice period, and checks she is not already on file.
  • Mention a company that is hiring and Claude adds it as a client, website and all.
  • When the salary changes, Claude updates just that field and leaves the rest alone.
  • Ask it to add someone you already have and it finds them instead of making a duplicate.

See the Recruitly MCP server and developers.

Can Claude update records in Recruitly?

Yes, once a super user switches on Allow AI assistants to make changes. Until then Claude can only read.

Does Claude create duplicates?

No. It checks for an existing record and finds it instead.
