Xero integration: connect Xero and raise invoices from your recruitment CRM
Connect Xero from the Marketplace, set invoice defaults, raise invoices from a company or a placement, and reconcile Xero invoices on your dashboard.

With Xero connected, invoices are raised from Recruitly with the client's details already in, and invoices you create in Xero come back into Recruitly to be matched to the right record. This walkthrough covers the whole thing, from connecting to disconnecting.

Connect Xero
- Click your user icon and open the Recruitly Marketplace. Xero is under Available apps.
- Click Connect to Xero, sign in to Xero and click Allow access.
Set your invoice defaults
- Your organisation name comes from Xero.
- Toggle on showing only invoices created from Recruitly to keep the list clean.
- Choose the default account code, tax or VAT rate, tax type and invoice status.
- Turn on emailing invoices to clients automatically, which you can still change per invoice.
Click Update defaults to save.
Raise an invoice
From a company: open it and click Invoices. Company, contact, address, due date and currency are filled in. Enter the amount, any line items and the remaining mandatory fields, then Create invoice. From a placement: open it and click Invoice, check the filled-in details and Create invoice. Every invoice shows under Overview in Xero Invoices.
Reconcile on your dashboard
Add the Xero invoice reconciliation widget and choose pending or resolved invoices. Link to Record connects an invoice raised directly in Xero, Split divides an amount across placements, and Mark as resolved closes it. Invoices created in Xero appear in the widget and link automatically when a record shares the invoice's email address.
To disconnect, open Marketplace, Connected Apps, Xero and click Disconnect. See recruitment billing, placement management and the Marketplace.
