Candidates answer WhatsApp faster than email. Linking your WhatsApp to Recruitly takes one QR scan, and every message you send or receive is logged on the candidate's record for reporting.

Watch it on Recruitly Play (3 min 4 s), part of the Get set up series.

Link your number

  1. Click your profile picture, then Marketplace and Apps, and open WhatsApp Personal. Click Activate WhatsApp if needed.
  2. In Phone Numbers, click Add Number. A QR code appears.
  3. In WhatsApp on your phone, open Linked Devices, tap Link a Device and scan the code.

Check your messaging allowance under limits. A new connection starts in a warm-up phase and the limits rise gradually.

Logging and privacy

In Activity Logging, turn on logging so sent and received messages are recorded and reportable. In Privacy, choose your group message sync options. Info shows your numbers, users and logging settings.

Message a candidate

Open the candidate and click the WhatsApp icon, which shows when they have a WhatsApp number. The message is logged in their activity. To disconnect, delete the number in WhatsApp Personal and confirm it.

See WhatsApp integration, WhatsApp campaigns and WhatsApp limits.
