How to find your way around Recruitly: search, shortcuts, support and learning
Press slash to reach any record or setting, Command J to start anything, build your own menu, get help from Simi who checks your account, and learn with Emma and the Academy.
This video is the map. It covers moving around Recruitly quickly, getting help when you are stuck, and keeping up with what has changed.
Watch it on Recruitly Play (3 min 37 s), part of the Get set up series.
Getting around
- Press slash on any screen and type: it finds candidates, contacts, companies, jobs and deals, and settings such as email signature.
- Windows open over your work, never instead of it. Minimise them and they wait in the tray.
- Command J starts anything, then one letter: J for a job, C for a contact, N for a note.
- Build your own left menu from More, grouped by the work each app does. Collapse it to icons. It follows you to any computer.
- Each record opens in its own tab, so a candidate and their job sit side by side. The top bar has your dialler, calendar, LinkedIn, today's tasks and notifications.
Support, day or night
Support checks your account before you ask, for example a mailbox that needs reconnecting, with the fix beside it. Ask Simi in your own words. She looks into your account, traces things like a call, and hands you the button for a how-to. If she cannot solve it, one click passes it to the team with the conversation attached. The Knowledge Base searches every guide.
News and learning
News lists every release, dated, in plain words. Learn with Emma holds every video, sorted by the job you are doing. The Academy teaches by doing and awards points, and Get set up shows what is still to switch on. Recruitly also runs as a desktop app on Mac and Windows, with a phone app for calls and recordings.
See the Change Log, the desktop app and Simi.
