How to get job change alerts for the candidates you placed
Turn on job changes in a Loop Channel and Simi checks each person's LinkedIn at the pace you pick. When someone moves, the channel gets a card with three moves.
When someone you placed changes job, their old seat is empty and their new company is a friend inside. Loop Channels in Recruitly tell you the day it happens. This video shows how to turn job change alerts on for a channel and what to do when Simi finds a move.
Watch it on Recruitly Play (1 min 47 s), part of the Run your desk series.
Turn on job changes
- Open your channel, for example Candidates we placed, and press Channel actions beside the message box.
- Choose Signals. The Signals panel opens on the right.
- Turn on Job changes. Simi checks each person's LinkedIn and tells you in the channel when someone moves.
- Pick how often: monthly, weekly or daily. Each option shows what it costs a month for the people in the channel before anything starts.
- Press Start checking monthly (or weekly, or daily). The panel then shows it is on, with the frequency and the cost a month.
When someone moves
Simi posts a card in the channel: who moved, where they were, where they are now, and where you placed them. Under it are three moves, and nothing happens until someone on your team presses one.
- Add Action puts a call to the client about the empty seat on the team's Actions.
- Add lead makes the new company a lead, with the person you placed as your contact.
- See draft opens a short well-done note Simi wrote from you.

How much do job change alerts cost?
The alerts themselves are free. Each check is one Live LinkedIn Profile lookup at half a cent, it counts toward your monthly cap, and only people with a LinkedIn profile on their record are checked. For 240 people, checking monthly is about $1.20 a month. See pricing.
What happens when the monthly cap is reached?
The checks pause and Simi says so in the channel once that month, with a link to raise the cap.
