How to import candidates from LinkedIn into Recruitly with the Chrome extension
Install the Recruitly Chrome extension, open a LinkedIn profile and add the candidate to your CRM, filled in from the profile and straight onto a job.
The Recruitly Chrome extension saves a LinkedIn profile into your CRM without retyping it. The record fills in from the profile, and you can put the candidate straight onto a job's pipeline at the same time.
Watch it on Recruitly Play (2 min 21 s), part of the Fill jobs series.
Install the extension
- In Recruitly, click your user icon, then your name.
- Open the Chrome extension section and click the extension link.
- Follow the prompts to install it in Google Chrome.
Import a candidate
- Open the candidate's LinkedIn profile.
- Click the API Exchange extension. Their profile appears on the right of the screen.
- Click the profile in the extension, then Add to CRM and choose Candidate.
- Review the fields Recruitly filled in from LinkedIn and change anything you need.
- Optionally search for a job and pick the pipeline stage, then click Save.
Open the job and the candidate is on its pipeline at the stage you picked. See the Chrome extension and candidate sourcing pages.
Can I add a LinkedIn profile straight to a job?
Yes. Before saving in the extension, search for the job and choose the stage. The candidate lands on that job's pipeline.
Do I have to type the candidate's details?
No. Recruitly fills in the record from the LinkedIn profile and you review it before saving.
