If your agency already pays for Microsoft Teams Phone, your recruiters can call candidates from Recruitly with the Teams numbers they already have. It is one of the apps in Recruitly's Marketplace. A Microsoft 365 admin sets it up once, and from then on every call made or taken in Teams lands on the matching candidate, contact or lead by itself.

Watch it on Recruitly Play (2 min 6 s), part of the Get set up series.

Connect and switch it on

  1. Press slash, type Microsoft Teams and open the Microsoft Teams app. Click Connect, sign in with Microsoft and approve Recruitly for your organisation.
  2. Switch on Call candidates and contacts with Teams. Microsoft Teams now appears on every phone number in Recruitly.
  3. Click Enable call logging. Calls are logged after they end, usually within 30 minutes, and the last 30 days of calls come in too.

Match your team

On Phone users, anyone with the same email in Teams and Recruitly is matched for you. Match anyone left over by hand and save. Each person who calls needs a Teams Phone licence with a phone number.

Choose how calls are logged

On Call logging, pick the activity type for calls made and calls coming in. Nothing is logged until you do. You can also log missed calls and set the shortest call worth keeping.

Turn on call transcripts

For a summary and next steps from Simi on every call, the Call transcripts card lists three steps for your Microsoft admin, with the commands to copy. Test access tells you when it is working.
