Recruiter follow-ups: Simi Decisions vs Loop Actions
A Simi Decision is a candidate, client or lead waiting on your agency. A Loop Action is a promise between recruiters. Follow one client request to see both at work.
Two lists in Recruitly stop work being forgotten, and they track different people. Ask one question: who is waiting? A candidate, client or lead means a Simi Decision. A colleague means a Loop Action.
Watch it on Recruitly Play (2 min 23 s).
One request, both lists
- Monday: a client at Brightwell Group emails for two more CVs by Friday. Simi puts her on your Simi Decisions in her own words, due Friday.
- You Loop in Katie, who is formatting CVs this week.
- Katie writes back that she will have both CVs formatted by Thursday. Simi adds that as a Loop Action under her name, due Thursday.
- Actions shows the team's week. If Thursday passes it turns red.
- Katie sends the CVs and ticks her action. A recruiter ticks an action, never Simi.
- You email the client the CVs. Simi reads it and takes her off your list.
What closes each one
A Loop Action closes when a recruiter in the loop ticks it. A Simi Decision closes when the person waiting gets their answer. A decision never just drops off: it stays, marked Not mentioned lately, until it is answered or you press Answered.

What is the difference between a Simi Decision and a Loop Action?
A Simi Decision is someone outside the agency waiting on you. A Loop Action is a promise one recruiter made to another.
Can Simi tick off a Loop Action?
No. Only a recruiter in the loop ticks an action.
