WhatsApp for recruiters: Personal and Business inside your CRM
Link your own WhatsApp with a QR code, or give your agency an official WhatsApp Business line, and message candidates from the record with every message kept for the team.
Recruitly has both kinds of WhatsApp built in: your own WhatsApp, and your agency's official WhatsApp Business line. You can use either, or both, from the same candidate record.
Watch it on Recruitly Play (2 min 16 s).
WhatsApp Personal
Press slash, type WhatsApp and pick WhatsApp Personal. Activate it, click Link WhatsApp Number and scan the code with your phone, as you would for WhatsApp Web. Only your chats with people in Recruitly are synced, so family and friends stay private.
WhatsApp Business
Pick WhatsApp Business, click Set up and Start setup. In the Meta window choose your company and enter the number. Meta texts a code, and Recruitly catches it and shows it to you. People see your company name on every message, and your starter templates go to Meta for approval, usually within a day or two.
Message a candidate
Open the candidate and click WhatsApp. Send from your own number, or switch to Business, where a first message is an approved template with their name, your name and your agency filled in. Replies are a normal chat and are free. Either way, every message is on the record for the whole team.

Does Recruitly sync my personal WhatsApp chats?
Only your chats with people who are in Recruitly. Family and friends stay private.
Why does WhatsApp Business need templates?
A first message on WhatsApp Business has to be a template Meta has approved. Once the person replies, it is a normal chat.
